Launch Event – Queering the North – Museum of Free Derry

You are cordially invited to the launch of the Queering the North exhibition at the Museum of Free Derry on 2 February 2020 at 6.00pm.

The exhibition will be the first to present the unique LGBT+ history of the North of Ireland/Northern Ireland from 1967 to the present day.

The Museum of Free Derry is very honoured to curate this ground-breaking project.

Speakers will include Peter Tatchell and Sara Canning, among others.

The launch will also give you the opportunity to add your voice to the oral history element of the exhibition, “What’s it like to be LGBT+ in NI in 2020?”.

Space will be limited so please RSVP to Jeff Evans by 26th January 2020 @ jgm.evans@btinternet.com

Queering the North will be on display in the Museum of Free Derry throughout February 2020 and will then travel to other venues across Ireland and beyond.
