‘Bad Companions’ A study of queer life during the Second World War

To mark LGBT+ History Month, join NIWM Outreach Officer Michael Fryer for a talk exploring issues of sexuality and gender during the Second World War. From the armed forces to the home front, the war years brought new freedoms to society. This presentation will highlight an often forgotten aspect of this period’s social history.
