IDAHOBIT 2019 – Friday 17th May

WorldSkills UK will be sharing their report with their networks and across social media on 17 May to mark IDAHOBIT (International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Intersexism and Transphobia). It would be fantastic if you could also share with your networks and support on social media during the day. This forms part of our ongoing diversity and inclusion programme, which aims to drive increased representation of underrepresented groups across all WorldSkills UK services, as well as with our partners and the sector as a whole. I’d be more than happy to share more information on the programme if this is of interest.
Below are two template social media posts for you to use when sharing the report if you wish, but please do feel free to use your own wording:
How can the FE sector champion, support and inspire #LGBT + individuals? To mark #IDAHOBIT2019, @WorldSkillsUK has released a paper exploring what leaders from FE, business and government can do to drive lasting, positive change: http://bit.ly/2VetElL #GoFurtherFaster
I believe in creating an inclusive learning & working environment for all. I recently joined @WorldSkillsUK & leaders from FE, business & government to discuss how the sector can champion, support & inspire #LGBT+ individuals: http://bit.ly/2VetElL #IDAHOBIT2019 #GoFurtherFaster
