LGBT Domestic Abuse Project Releases Findings

The Coral Project, led by Professor Catherine Donovan (University of Sunderland) and Dr Rebecca Barnes (University of Leicester), is the first national study of the use of, and responses to, abusive behaviour in lesbian, gay, bisexual and/or transgender relationships. As our two-year project draws to a close, we invite you to hear about our key findings at one of our two end-of-project events:
Wednesday 17th September, 1.30-6pm, Amnesty International Human Rights Action Centre,
London. Half-day project briefing with drinks reception.
Friday 19th September, 10am-3.30pm, St Peter’s Campus, University of Sunderland. Full-day
conference with presentation of findings, invited speakers, lunch and workshop sessions.
We are keen to include practitioners from a wide range of sectors including domestic and sexual violence services, policing, probation and prisons, counselling and psychotherapy, LGB and/or T services, sex and relationship education and health.
