Our Just a Ball Game? pop-up exhibition will be displayed at the National Football Museum from 1st-6th February 2014, daily.
The BBC have arranged to record for 5Live 1 hour of the event in 2x 30 minute slots during the evening. Hosting the event will be Mark ‘Chappers’ Chapman and 5Live will use the recording and snippets a few days later for their special LGBT HM day. The BBC are also asking a few more special guests (on my behalf) whose names will be confirmed at a later date. These guests will be mixed with our patrons on the panel and also from the front rows of the audience.
Stop Press: Gainsborough Trinity midfielder and the only out conference player Liam Davis will also be a special guest.
The evening Q&A will take place between 6pm and 9pm on Wednesday 5th February in the Atrium of the museum close too our exhibition. The first floor of the museum and our exhibition will be open to guests and public with tickets from 6pm-6.45pm, and refreshments will be served during the 2 recording slots.
We will be selling raffle tickets to help raise funds for our campaign work later this year and so far have prizes which include:
signed Monty Panesar cricket shirt
signed MCLFC shirt
and a Harrods Wedgwood tea set used in a photo shoot for Diva magazine by the most famous and decorated women’s tennis player of all time.
The draw for these items will then take place at our official after event reception at Taurus Bar no1 Canal St. Manchester, to which anyone can attend from 9pm onwards.

Best wishes, Lindsay and the JBG? team.
