A rally has been set up to protest India’s 377 bill which recriminalises homosexuality with terms up to life imprisonment for “offenders”.

James Howarth of the human rights lobby, the Peter Tatchell Foundation said: “Please forward this invitation to all of your Email, Twitter and Facebook friends. India’s ban on homosexuality was imposed by the British when India was under colonial rule. It was repealed four years ago but reimposed in December 2013 to assuage certain religious groups and lobbyists, making LGB people who came out in the interim especially vulnerable.
Protest organiser Scott Weiss added: “India needs our help. Please attend this protest.
