Reaffirming why feminism is still needed, and exploring what can be done to combat problems faced by women today. Speakers include Caroline Lucas MP, Gita Sahgal and Shabina Begum. Yasmin Alibhai-Brown, Object, Finn Mackay and many more will be sharing
their views.
Workshops
include women in the media, incarceration and FGM. Secularism within feminism will be covered, as well as practical sessions on activism and assertiveness, and more!
FiL is hosting the first meeting for the launch planning of the Stop Porn Culture campaign; the Emma Humphreys Memorial Prize giving; and is followed by the annual Reclaim the Night march.
A diverse range of artists will be showcased, including work from established professionals, women in prison, and from those emerging from vulnerable situations.
