There will be a rally in favour of same sex marriage outside the House of Lords from 6pm, as peers vote on the same-sex marriage bill. The Christian fundamentalists will be there. Campaigners are asked to meet outside the
The Lords is bracing itself for a second day debating same-sex marriage. Sixty four had spoken up till the adjournment at 10.45 on the evening of Monday the 3rd of June and a further 27 are down to speak today, Tuesday the 4th of June.
The debate will be recommence at 3pm and a vote on a wrecking amendment is expected at around 6 o’clock – just in time for the evening news.
A rally in favour of same sex marriage was held outside the Lords yesterday evening, which was attended by Peter Tatchell. There was a smaller counter-demonstration.
