American network producer NBC has cancelled the comedy The New Normal after just one season. The Ryan Murphy sit-com about a gay couple and a surrogate mother didn’t attract a big enough audience, despite winning awards in the US.
Fans of the show can still watch it until the end of its current run on E4 at 9pm on Thursdays.
