The University of Connecticut’s ice hockey team The Huskies has launched an inclusive programme to challenge homophobia and transphobia in the sport. Patrick Burke initiated the ‘You Can Play’ project and video after his brother Brendan died in a car crash days after coming out in 2010. To read more go here
