Beloved is a short film produced by Suited and Booted Studios with a group ofyoung people aged 16-19. The film is written by Daniel Zinkant, a young personwho attended LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transsexual) group REACHin Bath. Funded by First Light, B&NES Arts Development and Suited andBooted Studios, it has been nominated for an audience award at the First LightAwards in March.
Beloved is a poetic interpretation of first love. It’s a film that challenges theassumptions of its audience, and promotes discussion of a subject wherestereotypes and prejudices are still present.
