Human rights martyr Martin Luther King would have been 83 today, January 15th, had he not been assassinated because of racism in 1968. In the UK in 2012 his legendary “I Have a Dream” speech seems as apposite as ever, with the ongoing battle for justice for Stephen Lawrence and the issues it has raised and the ongoing battle for human rights for so many people in the UK and beyond.
