East London Pride was a great success, with over 500 participants. Tower Hamlets Mayor Lutfur Rahman opened the Pride show with a resounding speech in favour of equality and diversity among the local community. Peter Tatchell attended in a supportive capacity and Festival Director Jack Gilbert said: “All in all, everyone had a great time”. To read more go here
