Schools OUT and LGBT History Month co-chair Sue Sanders will be at a reception to hail the success of the LGBT community at 10 Downing Street this afternoon. Celebrating London Pride, but with an eye on achievements in the field of sport, the reception will also include Sarah Williams and Nigel Wood of the Rugby Football League and Lou Englefield of Pride Sports, as well as members of the Sheffield Eagles RFL team, who wore the Homophobia-Tackle It! shirts in March.
The event will include the launch of the RFL’s Tackle It! programme and celebrate the RFL’s signing of the LGBT Sports Charter, which was also launched in March.
