The Croation Football boss who created a storm with his homophobic comments last year is to appeal against a $14,000 fine imposed upon him by UEFA.
During an interview with Croatian newspaper Večernji List earlier this year, 74 year-old Vlatko Markovic said that no gay player would ever be permitted on the team whilst he remains at the head of the country’s football federation.
