The New Year Honours for 2012-2013 include four LGBT Heroes: Labour MEP, actor and Stonewall founder Michael Cashman gets a CBE; Olympic Gold medallist boxer Nicola Adams an MBE and Liz Grant, former Stonewall deputy chair and Simon Fanshawe, journalist, former stand-up and non-executive director of the University of Sussex an OBE each.
