THE DAYS OF ANNA MADRIGAL – coming January 2014

For all literary fans of the great Armistead Maupin, you’ll be hugely excited to know that the 9th book in Maupin’s critically and popularly acclaimed ‘Tales of th City’ series will be published in January 2014. “The Days Of Anna Madrigal” chronicles the twilight years of literature’s most beloved trans woman, now 92, and her journey from San Francisco back to Winnemucca.

US oral history project reveals pre-Stonewall rights group

LGBT history in the USA didn’t just happen in New York and San francisco. We’ve come across an article in the Kansas magazine “camp”, telling the story of ‘Paul’ who back in 1968, started a successful LGBT group at Kansas State University, a whole year before the Stonewall riots in New York established that city’s first safe space for its LGBT community!
