Veteran Gay rights and anti-AIDS activist Arthur Evans has died after a heart attack aged 69. A participant in the Stonewall Riots, Evans went on to join the Gay Liberation Front after 1969, although he left later as he felt the organisation was watering down the cause by taking on other libertarian objectives.
