Between Sunday 13th September and Saturday 19th September 2020, East London NHS Foundation Trust (ELFT) will be hosting ‘Beyond The Rainbow’; a series of LGBTQ+ online events celebrating the achievements, culture and contributions of the LGBTQ+ community.
We’ll focus on health and wellbeing through a number of online sessions, discussions, interviews and entertainment, all in-conjunction with partner organisations.
Whilst the majority of sessions will take place on-line, we are also keen for there to be some opportunity for people to engage in off-line activities in their own space.
Over the week we’ll bring you family focussed events to educate and entertain, discussions workshops and practical wellbeing sessions, all whilst having fun!
We’re holding live Zoom sessions including; Sing-Along sessions, discussions around faith, culture and being part of the LGBTQ+ community, launching ELFT’s Allies Programme, as well as Sound Bath and mindfulness sessions. Keep a look out on the ELFT social media pages where will post the details for you to sign up to Eventbrite to access log-in details.
There’ll also be some great pre-recorded sessions that will be shared on our YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/user/NHSELFT).
This will feature spoken word poetry, inclusive story time for all ages, and a special performance of a Trans Fairy Tale which touches on transphobia, sexuality, mental health and self esteem.
