The archive of Sue Sanders and Schools OUT UK is now available for all to use as part of the LGBTQ+ Collections at Bishopsgate Institute, following its Launch on Wednesday the 4th of November,
Attendees had the  opportunity to view archive materials, as well as hear from Sue; Mary Fyfe, and ex-headteacher of Sue; Tony Fenwick CEO of Schools OUT UK; Niranjan Kamahtkar of Wise Thoughts; actor, model and musician Chaune King (who is a patron of LGBT History Month) and others involved in Schools OUT UK and its projects.
Friends old and new joined Sue at the Bishopsgate for a splendid evening. The archives are an essential record of the campaign for equality over the past half century and they are now accessible to the public.
So before you have a clear out of papers, memorabilia and photos check with Stef Dickers at Bishopsgate or your local archive we need to have a record of what we did and who we are.
We must not be invisibilised!
