My name is Zhan Chiam and I am ILGA’s new Gender Identity and Gender Expression Officer. Part of my job is to develop ILGA’s strategy in this area. I have spoken and met with some of you, but there are many more members and friends among you who have valuable things to say about ILGA’s work on trans* issues in the future.
We created a survey where all ILGA members, allies and LGBTI organisations can share their views on ILGA’s strategy on trans* issues.
As part of ILGA and the global trans* movement, your views are extremely important to making sure we get this right from the beginning. For allies of the trans* movement, we also want to know what you think.
We hope that in addition to the responses, the survey will assist ILGA in capturing data on the trans* organisations within our membership and organisations that work on trans* issues. Please feel free to pass the survey onto colleagues who may not have received this but would have useful contributions to add.
