School Bans Teachers in Same Sex Relationships

The International Christian School in Sha Tin, Hong Kong, has a policy of refusing to hire anyone who is a relationship that is not a heterosexual marriage because it says teachers should be ‘good Christian role models for our students.’
The policy has drawn criticism from the Anglican Church in China, but the Government’s policy against discrimination in employment is a voluntary one and the school is at liberty to flout it.
LGBT activists in Hong Kong, China and the Far East want the law beefed up so the school would be forced to forced to drop its discriminatory policy.
