God's Other Children – A London Memoir by Vernal Scott

A  new non-fiction book which details the impact of HIV and AIDS from a black/gay perspective. The forewords are written by Sir Nick Partridge, Peter Tatchell, and Lord Paul Boateng. It’s available from Foyles, Amazon and Gay’s The Word.
Amazon Review: “Readers are raving about this refreshingly original autobiography by Vernal Scott; a black gay dad and rather unsung champion of the AIDS era out of London. Brace yourself, because without question, there are no biogs quite like this one. Starting out in happy but poor 1930s Jamaica, the author’s ‘Windrush’-generation parents move to 1950s London, and that’s where this tour-de-force of a non-fiction story really begins, taking us right up to the present day.”
