Gay Footballer Calls for Australian league to Air Anti-Homophobia Video During Grand Final

Gay Australian Rules football star Jason Ball has launched an online petition to urge the AFL to air a new anti-homophobia campaign video during the Grand Final. The Victoria player has always been out and insists that his own team-mates are welcoming. However, he adds, homophobic slurs are rife in the game and the issue needs addressing head-on. He was moved to start the petition when the Australian Football League refused to show the video during the final. To read more go here.
