Manchester Airport Launches Bursary

One lucky ICT student will be £1,000 better off soon thanks to Manchester Pride, Manchester Airport and easyJet. The three have teamed up to launch a bursary of 1K, called the Alan Turing Bursary, to help a student read computer sceince in the UK. A week’s work experience in the IT departments of manchetsre airport and EasyJet’s HQ are also part of the deal.
The  launch follows a very successful Manchester Pride themed ‘Queer’d Science’ to mark Turing’s centenary.
