Gay Ugandan Felix Wamala will be deported from Heathrow on Virgin flight VS671 at 9.20 on January 2nd. Despite having gained a judicial review on December the 23rd, the UK borders Agency say they are determined to go ahead with the deportation of Felix Wamala, who is in Colnbrook High Security Detention Centre at Heathrow Airport. A bungled attempt to deport the asylum seeker was thwarted after officials allegedly manhandled him on the plane in front of the captain, who refused to fly the plane with Wamala on board.
The Borders Agency has lost much of Felix Wamala’s paperwork and their determination to remove him during the holiday period is of profound concern.
