Amnesty International's Education Activities for LGBT History Month

Amnesty International has provided 18 pages of activities for LGBT History month (PDF document). These include some fantastic role plays, including a create your own state task, some excellent text activities at word level for literacy lessons, opportunities to research gays, lesbians and bisexuals in history and a discussion of the use of gay/lesbian hate lyrics in contemporary music. Essential at Key stages 3 and above. Can be adapted for younger groups of pupils.
